There are ways to prevent this thing from happening, and here are some tips on how.
The refrigerator has different sections for various food items. There is a proper space for the meat, fruits, vegetables, and dairy. When storing something, always cover them up if you do not want them to dry up easily. If you put them in containers, put them in something that you can easily see through, or you can just use labels to know what is inside. Also, pay attention to the expiration dates. It is better to put the newer batch at the back part and old to the front. Just make sure you can still see all of them. In addition, plan out your meals by making a list of what is inside the refrigerator so that you will not overlook anything. Make it a point that you go through every food items regularly. You can always make a meal out of those meat and vegetables that were there for a while now.
